Wear Red on Friday

 

Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing
 Red every Friday. Maybe you have already noticed the trend.  Maybe you thought it was just because Christmas is approaching and figured everyone was in the sprit of the season.  Well, there is another reason for all the red on Friday’s.

Americans who support our troops are wearing red every Friday. 

Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority." Well we are no longer silent, and we are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing but we want to be heard.  And we want our

troops to know we love and appreciate them.

Many Americans, like you and me simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect will continue each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that .... Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women a far will wear something red.

By word of mouth, blog and e-mail, we can all come together every Friday and show our united support.  If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in red and it will let our troops know the once "silent" majority is on their side now more than ever; certainly more than the media has let on.

They say the first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is, "We need your support and your prayers." 

This Friday, and every Friday, show your support…..let them know that you care.  Let the whole world know that we all care and support them.  Wear red on Friday if you care, love and support our troops.
