Wednesday is my day to randomly choose a word from the Merriam Webster dictionary and post it to my blog.
So as I flip through the pages of Merriam Webster's Dictionary, my eyes comes to rest on the word.....
Glabella
gla·bel·la \glə-ˈbe-lə\ noun (pl. glabellae), New Latin, from Latin, feminine of glabellus - hairless, diminutive of glaber First Known Use: circa 1823
1. The smooth prominence between the eyebrows, just above the nose. 2. The corresponding area on the frontal bone between the eyebrow ridges.
Joan gently instructed her client on how to pluck the glabella so that the hairs wouldn't grow back forming a uni-brow.
